equippers (pastors)

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. – Ephesians 4:11-13

Kairos hollywood is led by a decentralized, egalitarian team of congregational equippers, commissioned into one of the five roles the apostle Paul envisioned in his letter to the Ephesians: the apostle, the prophet, the evangelist, the pastor, and the teacher. The equippers strive to strengthen our congregation in these areas for the purpose of equipping the people of God to become like Christ.

Each person in the body of Christ is a disciple who is uniquely made by God with particular gifts, personalities, passions, talents and experiences. Equippers are servants who understand that they are ministers to other ministers, helping each disciple fulfill their ministry in the church and in the world.
